The Ceremony

 

Choose from a variety of spaces to suit your wedding ceremony, each offering its own charm.

Within Clifton Observatory you can find the gorgeous William West room, a beautiful historical and unique space that is the perfect blank canvas for your dream vision. You can also choose to say I Do on the Rooftop Terrace, a stunning open-air space overlooking the truly spectacular backdrop of Clifton Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge.

 

The William West seats up to 60 for a ceremony and the Rooftop Terrace seats up to 40, each with additional standing space.

 

The Reception

 

All ceremony packages will include a celebratory toast for all guests.

 

Following the service, for those hosting their ceremony within the William West, your guests will be invited up to Clifton Observatory's 360-rooftop terrace offering spectacular views across the Bristol skyline and Clifton Suspension Bridge.

 

For an unforgettable and intimate experience, you can also invite your guests to explore our historic attractions, adding a unique touch to your special day.

 

Catering

 

The William West room can cater for a number of catering options depending on your preference and party size. The William West has a seated capacity of 66 (including top table) for banquets and up to 120 standing or buffet-style. The Rooftop Terrace also offers a capacity of 90 for canapes. The venue works with a range of high-quality local caterers that serve a variety of cuisines to suit your dream reception, from three-course banquet meals, to street food, to canapes.
