Set within 66 acres of picturesque countryside, Old Down Estate is a unique wedding venue located in Tockington, Bristol. It features two different venues - a modern Victorian manor house with sweeping views of the severn estuary and a converted rustic barn with its very own Victorian walled garden. The estate is conveniently located next to the M4 and M5 motorways and just 12 miles from Bristol City Centre.

The Manor House is a gracious and stylish venue, that can be dressed up or dressed down. But what doesn’t change is the elegant interiors; the sweeping staircase, the spectacular chandeliers and the vast windows framing incredible views across the River Severn to Wales. The Manor is exclusively yours from day of your wedding to the following morning and has 8 characterful bedrooms for friends and family to stay. It is fully licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies but is also the perfect reception venue should you choose to hold your ceremony elsewhere.

The Barn stands in the heart of the estate. It provides a charming style choice for wedding couples with its exposed brick, wooden beams and log fire. In addition, their adjacent Victorian Walled Garden gives couples and their guests an exclusive piece of the park. Walk around the garden and find beautiful cut flower beds, water features and a pergola of seasonal flowers. Say ‘I Do’ alfresco style as it’s a picture perfect environment to hold an outdoor ceremony. As there is no guarantee with the British weather, The Folly (located within the Walled Garden) is also a shelter to hide from the elements - featuring festoon lighting, climbing plants and a view of the gardens.

Both venues provide a dedicated wedding coordinator, who goes above and beyond to bring your vision to life. From creating your wedding timeline to assisting you on the day, they are on hand to make sure your wedding day is memorable and stress-free. Whether you're planning a relaxed, fuss-free day or an elegant, lavish affair, Old Down Estate can cater to every taste. Their talented in-house chefs bring years of experience to the table, crafting everything from melt in your mouth canapés to sumptuous wedding breakfasts and delectable evening spreads. Within the grounds of the estate, sits a self catering property Foxholes Barn (sleeps 11) with hot tub and seasonal bell tents (sleeps up to 40) from April to September for extra accommodation for your guests. It is also home to Foxhills Spa, a boutique spa that is perfect for a pamper session before (or after) the special day.
