SLIDING TICKET SCALE: PAY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD
Please note we're operating a Sliding Scale – "Pay What You Can Afford" Ticket (Plus 10% Booking Fee), as we want to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to see this wonderful film on the largest screen in Bristol!
What Should I Pay?
You can choose what you pay based on your circumstances – you won't be asked for any proof / ID, we just ask that you are honest. The recommended price tickets reflect the true cost of delivering our programmes. We offer tickets higher than this for those who are in the privileged position of being able to pay-it-forward.
Please be mindful that if you purchase a ticket at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford a higher ticket price, you are limiting access to those who truly can't afford to pay.
£15 – Pay it forward (People who fit the criteria of the Full Price ticket who want to use some of their disposable income to support Cary Comes Home so that people less fortunate can have subsidised tickets)
£8.50 – Full Price (People with expendable income** who are comfortably able to meet all of their basic needs)
£5 – Young People (under 30s)
£5 – Concession (Full-time Students, Job Seekers Allowance and Employment Support Allowance, 66+ who have retired, emergency services, military, disabled people. Where applicable please produce proof of eligibility when collecting a ticket).
Free – Can't Afford to Pay (refugees, asylum seekers and those who can't afford to meet their basic needs* and have no expendable income)
BASIC NEEDS include food, housing, clothing and transportation.
EXPENDABLE INCOME might mean you are able to buy coffee or tea at a shop, go to the cinema or a concert, buy new clothes, books and similar items each month, etc.
